Hi: I have a SSL Cert graphic that I want to appear on every page - best place I'm thinking to put it is above or below the Simple Member Pro link that appears at the bottom of every page.  Or my other option is to put it underneath the row of links that say "Home, Disclaimer, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Contact Information"

Can you please tell me which file to go into to change that?  I'm assuming I will need to access it through cPanel. Please advise. Thanks.

Simple Member Pro / Help! I Messed up code for affiliate_emails.html
« on: September 20, 2009, 09:01:14 AM »
Hi: What is the original code for affiliate_emails.html - I was trying to change it and forgot to back it up and messed it up.  I thought this was the original code however now the email start, email end and mailname codes are showing up on my page.   Also please explain how this is suppose to be used?  Are they support to just copy and paste emails into their own email and then send.  What is the view button for?  Where does the email actually go?  Just explain the whole purpose of this page and how to insert the emails.  Is it only for putting in one email?  I thought it was for you to put in different emails that affiliates code use? What do I need to fix below:

The code I have now is:

   <font class="titles">
      Affiliate Emails Management

<table align="center" width="87%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<td class="error" colspan="4" align="center"><b>{{message}}</b></td>
      <td colspan="3" class="tbtext">
     <div align="left"><strong>Affiliate Emails</strong>      </div></td>
      <td width="11%" align="center"> &nbsp;&nbsp;
         <a href="market.php">&rarr;&nbsp;Back</a>      </td>

   <td colspan="4" align="left" class="tbtext">
        Below are the emails you can use for your marketing campaigns.<br />
        Click the view button to view the emails.</td>

   <td colspan="4"><hr align="left" noshade size="1">   </td>

      <td colspan="3" class="tbtext">
     <div align="left"><strong><{mailname}></strong>      </div></td>
      <td width="11%" align="center"> &nbsp;&nbsp;
         <a href="aff_email.php?mid=<{mid}>">View</a>      </td>
      <td colspan="4"><hr align="left" noshade size="1"></td>
   <td width="88%" class="tbtext">
   <div align="left"><br>
      <li>Click <b>View</b> to view each affiliate email.</li>
</div>   </td>

Hi: leave it to me to think of this one.   ::)  I was just thinking for affiliate who signup without buying anything - is it going to delete them after one day.

update says:

This will now delete any member marked paid without a paid product who has been a member for longer than 1 day. This will help keep the database cleaned out.
from the system after 24 hours.

Simple Member Pro / Big Issue w/Affiliate Program Referrals
« on: September 17, 2009, 04:51:21 AM »
Hi: There is an issue with the Affiliate Program Referrals.  If a person signs up under an affiliate url but then does not pay - it counts them under the Affiliates Referral Count.  Although it does not put it under the admin side as an affiliate referral that needs to be paid which is a good thing on the Admin side.  HOWEVER, its a huge problem on the Affiliate side because the affiliate does not know that the person didn't pay - all they know is that their screen says they have 1 referral and they will be expecting to be paid for that 1 referral, which as you can imagine can lead to a huge issue for Admin to argue with affiliates that although your stats show you have X amount of referrals, only X amount of referrals actually paid.  We should not have to do that.

Is there a fix for this?  If not, when is one coming out?

Simple Member Pro / Issue with Coupon Feature
« on: September 10, 2009, 01:34:08 PM »
Hi: I'm trying to create a 100% free coupon.  My sale price is $24.95 so I tell it to take off $24.95 but it doesn't take off anything.  And it still takes me to the payment page.  Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?

Hi: Are passwords stored in plain text or are they md5 encrypted?

Hi: My name is Jennifer Harrison from Pennsylvania and I have been self employed and working from home full time for 8 years.  I am a self taught web designer and have been doing web design and affiliate marketing since 1999.  I have several online businesses.  I was an eBay Power Seller for 5 years and then left that to create my first product site which has been up and running for 3 years now and was an unbelievable success.  And now I'm venturing into the world of membership sites which this will be my first.

I'd like to say that Simple Member Pro is really easy to use and very customizable.  I am loving it so far and excited about my new membership site.  The support here is PHENOMINAL!!  Fast and right on point.

I wish you all the best of luck.

Simple Member Pro / Issue - Help! Marking Paid when DID NOT Pay
« on: September 04, 2009, 10:06:32 PM »
Hi: I just launched my site and I'm still testing it.  But when you click on Sign-Up and enter your details and Paypal email and then hit Sign Up (which then takes you to the Paypal button page).  But without even clicking that or doing anything further, it is putting members under the Member Management as marked "Paid".

So why is it doing that?  That is not good at all.  How do you fix it?

Also what does OTO mean?
