Simple Member Pro / Re: How can I do this?

Looking good Chris.

If you can save the pages as PHP pages (just save as .php rather than .html) and upload within the member area then follow the instructions  here to lock the pages to members only: http://contactandsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,372.0.html

Simple Member Pro / How can I do this?
« Last post by cjpweb on November 30, 2014, 11:33:22 AM »
Hi,

I have been working on my home page for my membership site take a look and let me know what you think.

http://create-your-own-graphics-4-free.co.uk

My problem is that the membership will be where the members can create there own graphics via creators that I have, the free members will be able to use Affiliate Banner Creator to create Affiliate Banners and upgraded members will have access to the following creators:

Affiliate Banner Creator, Headline Creator, Copy Creator, Buy Now Button Creator, CTA Button Creator, Belcher Box Creator, eBook Cover Creator, eCover Creation, Bullet List Creator, Content List Creator, Testimonials Creator, Squeeze Page Creator, Video SqueezePage Creator, Pricing Table Creator, HTML Sales Box, Warning Box Creator.

As the creators are scripts/software and have there own pages how can I get these into the various members area?

Or do I just create a password protected folders on my cpanel and just give a password for the members to access them?

Thanks
Chris

Easy Seller Pro / Re: ESP Supported?
« Last post by admin on November 26, 2014, 01:04:03 PM »
Hi Chris

There have been no updates since I purchased it from Kim and to be honest don't really promote it any more as it's quite limited and you can do a lot more in SMP anyway.

Hi,

I bought Easy Seller Pro some years ago well a lot of years ago when Kim used to own it.

Is ESP still supported?

And can I get an updated version? I will try to find my old receipt for it somewhere.

Simple Member Pro / How To Change The Currency In SimpleMemberPro
« Last post by admin on October 31, 2014, 05:01:41 AM »
The default currency is US Dollars or USD. Not everyone may wish to use USD so here is a guide on how to change the PayPal currency.

PayPal can be used with many currencies and a full list of the codes can be found here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/currency_codes/

For the sake of this tutorial I will be converting form US Dollar (USD) to GB Pounds (GBP) - just substitute the GBP for which ever symbol is right for the currency you wish to use.

You will need to open the following files in a text editor (Notepad is ok but don't use any software that adds formatting such as Word):

In signup.php change the following lines of code

Line 753 - change
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD"> to
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="GBP">
Line 791 - change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
In admin/affiliate_payment.php on line 69 change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
In admin/paypal_mass_pay.php on line 9 change
Code: [Select]
$paypal_cur = 'USD'; to
Code: [Select]
$paypal_cur = 'GBP';
In html/paypal_subscribe.html on line 15 change
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD"> to
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="GBP">
In member/buy_points.php on line 69 change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
In member/buynow.php change the following lines:

Line 211 change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
Line 250 change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
In member/oto.php change the following:

Line 248 change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
Line 278 change
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='USD'> to
Code: [Select]
<input type='hidden' name='currency_code' value='GBP'>
In member/product.php change the following:

Line 176 change
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD"> to
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="GBP">
Line 217 change
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD"> to
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="GBP">
Once these have been changed be sure to test before going live, preferably in PayPal Sandbox mode.

Announcements / SimpleMemberPro 4.0 Has Been Released
« Last post by admin on August 20, 2014, 07:01:49 AM »
Just a quick note to let you know that SMP version 4.0 has been released and as well as adding compatibility for newer PHP servers, has fixed some niggling bugs too.

Please note - this version will only run on PHP 5.3 servers and above and is ready in the downloads section at www.simplememberpro.com

The full changelog is:

1) Added new function where admin can see which members have access to which products and vice versa.
2) PayPal IPN return now works on PHP 5.3 servers.
3) Protected link file names can now contain spaces.
4) Fixed some CSS issues with text being aligned too far left.
5) Added link to manually allocate OTO products to existing members.
6) Fixed bug with multiple OTO products not always displaying in downloads menu once purchased or allocated manually.
7) Paid Product list in member area now lists alphanumerically.
8) Various sections in Admin (Product lists, Member lists, Custom Page lists etc) now have the ability to sort by name or id number and also now have a search button.
9) Added ability to create and edit a menu for home/public pages in Admin.
10) Paid products with a zero price now take you straight to the member area after sign up.

Finally, I have altered the pricing structure to make SMP more affordable. A single site licence is now available for just $47 but rest assured, you still have a licence to install on unlimited sites that you own.

50% commission is payable on all referred sales and the new price point is a proving really popular already. If you have a large list and would like to negotiate a better rate then please contact me.

Regards

David
