Hi

As the release of 3.01 is announced, I have some new features to add in a forthcoming release but first would like to iron out any final bugs that may be in the script.

Please post on this thread any bugs you have found in SimpleMemberPro that have not been fixed yet and I will get them fixed where possible in the next release.

Please note, I am after bugs - not new feature requests at this point.

I don't know that this is a bug report so much as it is a hacking report, so maybe it shouldn't be here.  I have been adding members manually to a site, as I've been selling memberships off another site.  Added a bunch in a few days ago, then was back in today, and saw a very strange name in there - one that I had not put in, nor was I paid for.

I have screen shots, whatever you need if you're interested.

More than likely its an automated spam robot sign up (normaly have names and emails that make no sense).

These are signed up by bots looking for account sign ups on sites, maybe where they can leave profile spam links etc. As annoying as they are to see, the users/bots can't access any products, even if they can log in. Test it by logging in on the user's acount from the admin panel (just click their user name) and you will access the member home page but when you try accessing and paid products there are no links.

Depending on which version you are running, after a period the system relises they have not paid and deletes the account.
