Help setting up e-mail

I couldn't send out e-mail through the script.

Here's the application.conf. I've changed 'sendmail' to ' /usr/sbin/sendmail ' (which is the path to the sendmail in myh host)

#smtphost =
#smtpuser =
#smtppassword =
#mailer = smtp

#smtphost =
#smtpuser =    
#smtppassword =
mailer = /usr/sbin/sendmail

Do I need to define the smtphost,user and password too? I tried and it didn't work but I wasn't sure whether my settings were correct or not.

I also found this in their support site:

To help prevent unauthorized users from abusing our system you must create the email account in control panel that you have your form configured for.
The email account, that your form sends to, must exist in your control panel.

You will also want to reference SMTP @ /usr/sbin/sendmail

Would be great if you could help me out. Thanks!

The system works on PHP Sendmail - does your host support it?

Normally SMTP does not need to be used.
