How To Lock A Forum etc In The Member Area

The best way to do this is to install your forum inside the /member/ directory.

Once installed you will need to lock one of the files that is used by all pages on the forum ie index.php
or header.php etc.

You do this by adding the following code after the first php tag (<?php) or (<?) in that file:

Code:
Code: [Select]
include_once("../3rdpartysession.php");
That will lock the file so that only logged in SMP script members can access it.

You can also use this for a members only blog etc.
